Team Never Forgotten athletes Mike Kinney, Flynn Schulz and Nathan Tackett qualified for the World's Toughest Mudder by finishing in the top 5% of all competitors at the Wisconsin Tough Mudder They plan to raise funds to honor and empower wounded veterans by competing in this event.
The World's Toughest Mudder is billed as "a grueling 24-hour challenge designed to find the toughest man, woman, and 4-person team on the planet". Held in Englishtown, New Jersey in November, it is an 8-mile long obstacle course designed to challeng the mental and physical toughness of competitors. Athletes will have 24 hours to complete as many laps as possible. The person who completes the most laps is crowned the World's Toughest Mudder.
You can help Team Never Forgotten! We are looking for people to pledge money for each lap completed by the TNF athletes. All of the money - as well as any prize money - will go entirely to the Wounded Warrior Project.
From the website:
The Bataan Memorial Death March is a challenging march through the high desert terrain of White Sands Missile Range, conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II, sacrificing their freedom, health and, in many cases, their very lives.
Team Never Forgotten athletes will be competing in the 26.2 mile full route. TNF will be raising money for the VFW at this event. We will ensure that all donations are distributed to our local VFW chapters to support veterans in our community. Donation details will be provided in late November. If you are interested in sponsoring this race for TNF, please send us an email at email@example.com.
